  A biologist and entomologist based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Vazrick Nazari studies insects and evolution. The University of Alberta awarded him an MSc (2006) and the University of Guelph awarded him a PhD (2011). Some of his main research areas are: Taxonomy, biogeography, molecular systematics, and phylogenetics of Lepidoptera. In addition to cultural entomology, he has an interest in zoology.
