Pixar has made a great cartoon movie Wall-e, where they showed the human kind's way of living in the future. Google Glass might be something in that direction.
Also it well known that most of us feel better behind the mask or glasses. What kind of impact could this kind of glasses made on us? We will be much more depressed and cocaine will become light drugs for sure.
But anyway, it looks great and if I would have to wear glasses I would buy something like that.
