Amazon revealed a delivery technology straight out of sci-fi movies. Flying robot drones might start picking up and delivering packages to Amazon customers in not so distant future, awesome!

It was, to some extent but I do believe they are working on something in air delivery kind of direction. There sure are some concerns about safety, landing sites and people shooting the drones down in order to get a free package.
When all this things are figured out, and air space opens for drone traffic, I don't see a reason not to use the unmanned flying machines for small package deliveries.
