How to digitally sign a PDF document

To ensure the authenticity of a document you have to sign the document with the certificate. I will show you how you can easily sign PDF document with the help of simple tool DigiSigner.

Open this page to download the application:

We will use free version.

Click Download Free to transfer the application.

After the installation is done run the program.

During the installation use the default settings.

Run the application and open any PDF document.

Click Signature button.

First we have to import certificate.

Click Add new key store... button.

Certificate should be stored as a file.

Click Add.

Double-click the file with the certificate.

Certificate is probably protected with the password, so you have to enter the password of your certificate.

Click OK to import the certificate.

This is one time procedure, for later signing you will not need to go throug this steps.

Now click Sign to sign the document.

At the end the application informs us, that the PDF document is successfully signed.

Click OK
