Color splash an Object using Photoshop
A fun Photoshop tutorial where you will learn how to add different colors onto random object or a person and turn rest of the image black and white.

Open a photo with a element or person you want to put some color splash to.
|
|
|

|
|
Then open Hue/Saturation by clicking above on Layer, New Adjustment Layer and selecting Hue/Saturation...
When a naming dialog will appear, just click OK.
After that set Saturation to minimum (see the picture).

Set blending mode of a new layer to Color.
|
|
|

Select Brush Tool (shortcut is a key B).
|
|
|

Right-click on document and select really big size setting for a brush tool and also set Hardness to 0% (see the picture).

After that open the Swatches tab and click on more setting icon (see the picture) ...
|

... and select PANTONE color bridge CMYK EC.
When asked, just click OK, to confirm new brush preset. If you want to reset brushes, just select Reset Brushes in the same window.

New brushes will appear.
Select the first one, yellow one.

And click once or maybe twice on a random spot of an object or a person on your document.
|

Then select the second colour in Swatches tab.
It's the magenta.

And click again once or twice on near the first coloured spot.

Select the third colour in Swatches tab.
It's the cyan.

And click again somewhere to paint the object or a person.

Select Eraser Tool (shortcut is a key E).
|

Click on places that you don't want to see coloured to remove them with selected eraser tool.
