How to pick a color from a website using Chrome

Let me introduce you to a very useful Google Chrome browser extension that enables you to get a color code of any color on any given  website.

  Author: mat | Version: 0.3.2 | 11th July 2013 |

1.

Click to go to the Eye Dropper extension in the Chrome Web Store.

Click the Add to Chrome button.

2.

When asked to add a new extension, click Add.

3.

I know suggest you to restart the Chrome browser.

Notice the Eye Dropper icon right to the url bar, click it (see picture).

4.

Now go to any web page you want, click the Eye Dropper icon and then click the Pick color from web page button.

5.

Now simply point and click any part of the web page you want.

6.

Now click the Eye Dropper icon again.

You can now see all the different codes for the color you picked.

7.

Click the Options button (see picture).

8.

You can enable the Automatically copy picked color to clipboard option, so you will be able to paste the code directly to program like Photoshop or web page editor.

9.

Don't forget to Save settings.

10.

So like I said, the next time you pick a color on a website ...

11.

... you can paste it directly into the color code field in a program such as Photoshop and others.
