How to remove sound from a video in Premiere
Let me show you how you not only disable a sound in a video clip, but how you completely remove it using Adobe Premiere.

1.

Create a new Premiere video project.
Click here if you are not quite sure how to do that.
In the menu click File and choose Import... and choose a video file stored on your computer you want to remove a sound from.

Now right-click the video clip you just imported to your video project (see picture) ...
|
|
|

... and choose Insert.
You just added your imported video clip in the video timeline. You could also use your mouse to drag and drop it into the timeline.

With Insert you added your imported video clip in the video timeline. You could also use your mouse to drag and drop it into the timeline.

Now choose the clip in your timeline and right-click it ...
|
|
|

... and choose Unlink.
|

With the Unlink command you split the clip into video and audio track so you can move and manipulate them separately.
Now choose the Audio track ...

... and press Delete key on your keyboard.
Done.
