An Iranian space capsule called pisgham (pioneer) reportedly launched the monkey to the altitude of 120km on Monday. The capsule and the monkey were told to have survived the journey, but it's yet cleared where and when they have landed back to Earth.

Head of the Iranian Space Agency, Hamid Fazeli said: "Testing phase of these living capsules has ended and monkeys to be sent to space are now in quarantine."

Iran was also suppose to blast a living monkey into space in 2011 but did not succeed. Until the date, there weren't any explanation from Iran what went wrong, the plan was to send the living monkey into the orbit on a Kavoshgar-5 rocket.
