Microsoft made a Beta version or a so called Consumer Preview version of their newest operating system Windows 8, available for everyone to download and test the heck out of it.

Has anyone allready try it?

I really want to know, will it be usable on standard notebooks or will you have to buy touch notebooks to optimise the use of operating system?

I've tried it. Windows 8 has been primarily designed as a touch interface and you notice that fact right away it makes you want to tap and slide.
