4K resolution for PlayStation 4? |

The 4K resolution is a standard for a few different resolution standards in digital cinematography. These days it is also hitting our living rooms. It is probably going to be a next big thing after the 1080p HD standard as the 4K has a double of pixel density. One of the 4K standards called Digital Cinema 4K has a resolution of 3996 × 2160 where as the 1080p HD plays "only" at the 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Reportedly, the next generation PlayStation 4 that should be released sometime next year - some speculate in the early months of 2013 - is going to support the mighty 4K resolution. That being sad, to enjoy the 4K in its full glory your will have to upgrade your TV sets to the same format but you are in luck, Sony will be releasing its first 4K TV set in a few.

| I am a huge PS3 fan and I really hope they will make console even more "server" friendly. One box for the whole house, imagine?! I want to have everything on PS4 and connect with all my devices to it. |
