I would like to make a fish with potatoes together for my children and I wonder how to do it correctly. I am sure that baking potatoes takes a little bit longer than fish, but also I have heard that you can bake them together from the start?

it depends, you can bake the fish and potatoes together from start, but in this case you should pre-cook the potatoes a bit (in water of course). Not too much though, they should still be firm and not yet done. Then you can put them into an oven together with fish.
