Recently, we introduced the whole new emotions or smileys if you will. They are more minimalistic and a tad smaller than the previous ones, so the spacing between the lines does not get distorted when you use them.

We added a new category called Links. The idea is to "advertise" the Dreevoo.com content, so you wouldn't miss on all the interesting stuff happening around here. We still haven't decided, if including the external links, meaning links to other pages would also be a good idea? What do you think?
There is also a new Link button in the Shortcuts section of the home page.

We are thrilled to announce that we just released a new version of Dreevoo Content Image Maker. It's a simple Windows program, that will help you create appropriate images for tutorials and lessons you might submit on Dreevoo.com. Cool thing is it doesn't require any installation at all.
As always, we encourage you to contribute and share your knowledge and skills, as be sure it will make a lot of people happy. Further more, for every published tutorial we will reward your effort with Tokens, which you can use for advertising your skills, company or whatever you want as long as it's not offensive, on your ever growing Dreevoo.com knowledge sharing community.

This time we refreshed the icons, making them cleaner looking and reorganized the Forum categories a bit. With reorganized I mean we merged a few categories to make the Forum even more user friendly and transparent. Comments and suggestions are as always more than welcome.

We added a new category called Editor's pick. Tutorials and other content we think it's worth re-posting will occasionally be added to the homepage, as we don't want out our new users or the existing folks to miss out on all the good stuff that was published in the past.

As we appreciate your efforts, we decided to increase the number of Tokens you get for the every submitted content that gets published. From now on you will be rewarded with 6 Tokens for a computer tutorial, 8 Tokens for your DIY guide or recipe and 4 Tokens for every published news you submit. We made some minor, yet effective user experience changes on the homepage by removing a couple of unnecessary buttons and replacing old with new cleaner looking ones. Registration process for our new users is now even simpler and faster. If you are a fast typist it literally takes you only a few seconds to signup and get you started.
You probably noticed we also added Facebook like buttons under the content (we were pondering for quite some time if this would be a good idea or not), so please by my guests and click Like if the tutorials or any other content was what you were looking for and helped you learn a new thing or two. We also started a Facebook and Twitter page so you can follow us there as well.

It's been one "hellova" of a year for Dreevoo. Our free base of knowledge is getting bigger and bigger and thanks to you guys it doesn't seem the trend is going to mellow down any time soon.
The Dreevoo.com is alive and growing and as such serving you with the new features. It's hard not to notice that we changed the ads, making them more visual but at the same time, they are not interfering with the content you came for. Some of you are probably wondering, "why the heck is this guy talking about ads, we don't want pesky ads!". Well, it's simple, with this ads you can promote yourself, your brand, project, knowledge basically anything you want, by only submitting and sharing your knowledge. As already mentioned on so many occasions, we believe in fair exchange - if you are willing to share your knowledge with the rest of the world, we feel obligated to reward you properly.
The next big thing we just introduced, and we are hoping it's going to become a huge part of Dreevoo, is the newest category called "Check your knowledge". In the content feed you will notice the new category marked green.
"Check your knowledge" is made of two major parts: Questionnaires and Your knowledge profile. The questionnaires will test your knowledge in specific fields. They will be added regularly by the Dreevoo.com community. Your Knowledge profile will serve as a legitimate and obvious display showcasing the skills that you are great at. Some are great with computers or designing, others with DIY stuff or languages, well you get the point.
You can always check your Knowledge status by clicking your profile picture and clicking the big Knowledge button on the left. So help us built the first real knowledge community on the web, knowledge is the future and knowledge is the power!
