I am just wondering when do you think Apple will present a TV set with Apple brand.
Now all the major TV producers have an Android TV in their roadmap and there were already some roomers about Apple TV.
What do you think? |

Hey Pod, the last thing I've heard is, the Apple will delay it's Apple TV set launch, due to not yet fixed and secured content delivery deals.
Apple supposedly wants to offer it's customers kind of an a la carte packages, meaning everyone will be able to choose which programs or content they want in their package.
Apple being Apple doesn't not just want to launch a simple TV set, they want to offer you a whole new experience of watching tv and choosing your content, which is as said just what they want to offer and the content providers are probably a little skeptical, too stiff or there's something completely different happening in the background.
So I would say, wait another year? |

If they will do that, they will make it revolutionary
Anyway, I think camera and apps will be the next thing in all televisions. Just think about video calling over the TV with large screen. I hope Skype will be included in future televisions with camera integrated. |

This year at CES they presented several very good solution with Google TV, which have a very good integration of TV and Android system. Much better than current google tv version.
In the long term I think Android will also be a winner on this field, backed up by Youtube content and Google Voice. |

Looks like Apple is already talking to content providers to launch TV subscription service by the end of this year.

Apple has a big advantage over other similar devices because of strong market share, so they will most likely succeed.
However, in typical Apple fashion, it wants to control everything and a media executive was quoted saying that the Apple "wants everything for nothing."
