How will humans change in 100,000 years? |

| Speculating about future is most of the time futile, let alone about the distant 100,000 years kind of future. But we can always guess and if there is science involved we even might be onto something. Artist and researcher Nickolay Lamm teamed up with Dr. Alan Kwan - doctor of computational genomics from Washington University.
So the question guys ask themselves was, how human face might look like in 100,000 years and why? The advanced genetic engineering technology that might become available over the years with natural selection so far could reshape us in interesting ways, let see what Dr. Kwan and mr. Lamm came up with.
Humans of today:
Nothing special here right?
Humans 20,000 years from now:
Bigger head for bigger brains and eye lenses similar to Google Glass of today.
Humans 60,000 years from now:
Even larger heads, bigger eyes - result of humans space colonization where we could live farther away from the sun where there is less light. Changed skin pigmentation, thicker eyelids for protection against UV-rays.
Humans 100,000 years from now:
Now we are talking big changes. Dr. Lamm is predicting huge manga-style (Japanese comics) eyes rocking “eye-shine enhance low-light vision and even a sideways blink from re-constituted plica semilunaris” for extra protection against harmful cosmic rays. Faces might be perfectly symetrical and in golden ratio proportions. Larger nostrils for easier breathing in environments where there is less air and denser hair to reduce heat loss from future human's even bigger heads. They might also carry a number of invisible implants for a constant connection.
