What do Av, P and other settings mean on my digital camera? |

Hi Guys, I just got this used Canon 450 DSLR camera and was just wondering about the meaning of various settings on the wheel where you get to choose from modes like P, Tv, Av, A-DEP. I know M stands for manual and the green square for automatic shooting mode, that's it though. Can you please explain the other settings to a total DSLR newbie?  |
