Jolla has introduced their first mobile phone with Sailfish OS |

Jolla has just introduced their first mobile phone with Sailfish operating system, which is a unofficial upgrade of very well reviewed Nokia N9 mobile operating system MeeGo. They have changed few gestures like swipe and after seeing the video below, I believe they have succeeded to produce the OS without competition.
The phone is made of two parts and as far as I have understood, they are offering everyone to customize the hardware too and not just the ambience and OS features. So in that case, you will be able to put larger battery or maybe even the keyboard.
Jolla will support Android apps, so you will have lots of apps to play with.
4,5 incher with HD display will offer 8 megapixel camera with flash and the 16 GB memory will be expandable with microSD card. The prize is also known and will cost 399€, taxes included. Also pre-orders will give you some extra values and money saving features.

| Love the OS, design's ok too I guess, but why the heck didn't they go for the edge-to-edge screen, I really don't get it. |

Marc Dillon, founder of the upcoming and much anticipated Sailfish powered smartphone, shared a photo showing Jolla smartphone rocking some Android powered apps, Instagram and WhatsApp! are among the more interesting ones.
