The following photos have been taken by an amateur astrophotographer from New York called Alan Friedman. He takes photographs of the Sun through a telescope in his backyard and the results are nothing short of amazing. Alan is using special filters which enable him to take photos without destroying his camera or eyes for that matter. The details and colors are of the sun are stunning.
This is the telescope setup his using, as he like to call it Little Big Man.
