Is Microsoft Office 2013 worth upgrading?

I am really interested in buying Office 2013 for Home and Students. It's not so expensive but I am not sure if it is offering me any improved and new tools for easier work?

Or is it just fancier icons? I would like to upgrade it from 2010 version and I am using Windows 8.

If you are basic user that I don't recommend you updgrading it. I think Word, Excel and PowerPoint should be part of the Windows system today. And google Drive is so good that you might consider trying using it?

I am using it and everything works fine. I like some UI features like hiding the tabs but programs load too long and Outlook is really slow.

You will be not able to uninstall and install it on another computer. So one licence for ONE computer.

One more fact to switch to Google Drive.

I am also satisfied but MS should make something really revolutionary because just changing icons will not be enough. I still miss the unlimited long page without pages if you understand me.

You need some time to get used, but it is OK.

I have found really good free and paid alternative. It's called Kingsoft Office and it looks even better than Office 2013 and has ribbons and also classic menus.

I think you should definitely upgrade it, at least to the version of 2019. It has tons of upgraded and improved things and features. But you should keep in mind licenses' issue. Microsoft licensing software in volume makes it easier and more affordable to run software on multiple devices within a single licensing organization. If an organization owns software licenses through Microsoft Volume Licensing programs, you pay only for the software license. There are some companies that are offering Microsoft licensing software. This can be bought from a top company and have a superb video-conferencing experience. Although, you have limited functionality in an unlicensed product. When you installed Office, you should have been prompted for a key that proves you have a valid license to use the product. If you haven't entered the activation key yet, go to File > Account and you'll be able to provide the 25-character licensing key there. If you bought the Office Suite, you need only to activate one product in the suite and the rest of the applications will use the same license key.

NikMan, a lot of people simply don't know where to get those product keys, especially if we talk about such software solutions like Microsoft Office. I always prefer to visit this cool resource ( right here: https://mysoftwarekeys.com/product/offic.... ), in those moments when I need to get a license key for my MS Office, when I get a new PC, for example. I can highly recommend that site.
