Hey guys, I see you know a thing or two about Apple products as well. I just got a used iPad without a box, it's suppose to be an iPad 3, but how can I be certain of this? How can I tell which mode, generation my iPad is?

Take a look at back of your iPad and look for the model number, here is the list of all the iPads with their model numbers until the date:
