Gimp is today inly good alternative to Photoshop. And I wonder why they don't invest more time and money. It could become something as Firefox. Too bad they don't realize that.

BTW: Great tutotirals at Dreevoo!

I think they don't have any money and they are updating it every year a little. I think they already know that their future is the same as OpenOffice's future. The only alternative, as I see, is in the clouds.

And http://www.photoshop.com already exists, but it needs lots of improvement. I am waiting for Google in this case.

I think Adobe Cloud service is worth of buying. You pay a monthly fee and it the package there is everything. Literally everything from Adobe. And you will get all the updates too.

Adobe is making programs for making money. I think we all know that, and why not investing a little bit into it?

Gimp is not bad at all and you can make everything there. Also there are lots of tutorials out there (specially on Dreevoo, which are awesome). I think Linux as alternative is already supporting it by integrating it into OS.
