Is daylight saving time useless? |

Like the title says, is daylight saving time useless or not?
My opinion is that does more harm than good.  |

|
Daylight saving was first introduced by European countries during World War I, with much of the U.S. joining the party in 1918. The idea was that more hours of daylight would "conserve coal for the war effort.
My opinion is that nowadays it is indeed mostly usless. While more sunlight does encourage people to use less electrical lighting, they tend to crank up their air conditioners. There are also quite a few other reasons against daylight savings time.
So maybe it is really time for abolishment of Daylight Savings Time. |

The problem is in fact much more complex, because there are a lot of factors to be considered and it is really difficult to evaluate benefits and drawbacks.

But at the moment most of the studies show there are still benefits when switching to daylight saving time.

There were commercial need and if you ask me, I would agree with you too. But we must change the whole systemto make those changes. I recommend starting work at 9 AM and not any more sooner.
Also I believe in 4 hours along work. That means more work for everyone and more success for human race.
