Misao & Fukumaru: Grandma and her cat |

This has to be one of the most soothing and feel-good things on the Internet. Meet the 88-year-old Ihara Misao and her best and beloved friend Fukumaru the cat. It's probably the hectic lives we are leading and all the bad news we are getting bombarded with on a daily basis, that these kind of peaceful "true-people" stories appeal to us and makes us forget about the everyday running about and not seeing the potential how our lives could be.
In 2003 a stray cat gave birth to this special white male kitten with two different-colored eyes, and since then Fukumaru and Misao are inseparable life companions. The awesome photographs were all taken by Misao's 30-year-old granddaughter Miyoko Ihara as she wanted to immortalise her grandmas' life in the beautiful Japanese countryside. Well take a look for yourself it truly will be worth your time. All good Misao and Fukumaru!
