Apple published 'Samsung did not copy' statement |
By the court order in UK, Apple had to publish on their site that Samsung did not infringe Apple's design patents.
If you want to see how Apple handled it to minimize the effect of this statement, go to UK Apple page:
http://www.apple.com/uk/
If you will look carefully you will be able to find the link Samsung/Apple UK judgement at the bottom of the page.
And here is direct link:

Well it seems UK court of appeal is also not happy with Apple's "apology". The Guardian reports that the acknowledgement posted by Apple was deemed non-compliant with the court's order. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/201....
The judge told Apple that it had to change the wording of the statement within 48 hours, carry it on its home page, and use at least 11-point font. |

It seems Apple has now complied with court order and changed the statement and made it a little more visible.

Of course it wouldn't be Apple if it did not try some sneaky moves.
You will notice that if you resize the page the content also resizes and flows to ensure that the statement is off screen and not visible and you are forced to scroll down if you want to see the statement. This behaviour is only present on UK page.
I don't know if this is funny or just sad. |

They had to admit it by the court order.
About the "scrolling" trick by Apple, what a cheap move. Even on 2560x1600 resolution monitor you still have to scroll to see the text.
I doubt court will be pleased with that. What will they do in third iteration, put white text on a white background.
Why don't they just take the pants down and take it like an adult. |
