That's a good price. But can I make a clean install of Windows 8 using an ISO file or something like that or am I bound to the Upgrade Assistant ?

During upgrade you have an option for clean install.
But what I am really disappointed is about buying a retail copy of Windows for installation on an old computer. All Microsoft if mentioning is about an upgrade option.
There is so much confusion regarding retail version and Microsoft does not even bother to give explanation.
From what I have gathered over Internet it is possible to buy System builder edition which mentions in EULA something about Personal license and which can be installed a new computer.
But at the moment it is very difficult to buy this version. Also I still don't know what is the difference between OEM and System builder edition and what exactly is legal when installing this edition.
Again I must say I am really disappointed in Microsoft.

| Just heard that Windows 7 might not get the Service pack 2 and it's support could be limited to year 2015. Definitely has MS the biggest and most aggressive way of advertising of new product line and I really wonder what will happen in next year. |
