The brand new Myspace.com coming up |

Before Facebook, there was Myspace. A social giant and one of the most rapidly growing websites of that time with over 100 million active users. It was fun, it was new and nothing like what we have seen before. You could customize your profile using profile editor or even overrun the entire profile with your very own custom html code.
Eventually those very things meant a slow and certain death for the poor Myspace. A new player was in town, and its name was Facebook. Clean looking social network with one significant feature (among others) that Myspace didn't have - the custom status - people were starting to post their statuses massively and the biggest global voyeurism could cometh.
In 2011 Specific Media Group and pop singer/actor Justin Timberlake bought Myspace for about $35 million and turned it into a music oriented social network.
And now, once more they will try to resurrect Myspace with a brand new Pinterest like design, but as it seems with lots of additional twists and extras and again focus on the music industry. Well take a look for yourself how the new Myspace will look like in the nice little promo clip:

I remember I've spent hours pimping my Myspace profile, was great fun and I discovered tons of awesome new music and bands. I think the music industry is a great direction they should follow and I like the new design, it's pretty. |

I wonder if they will succeed with this idea. Facebook is today overloaded with bunch of bull**it and Twitter is used only for posting links. They should listen and make something what social networking should be! |

The New Myspace is up and running. Justin Timberlake, the Myspace owner decided to lunch it parallel to his newest single Suit & Tie. If the latest resurrection effort of the once biggest social network in the world is going to be successful, or even gain only a small part of the social network pie, for now it can only remain to be seen.
