How to download YouTube videos with Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is still the web browser with the most plug-ins and extensions to choose from. Today I will show in my opinion one of the most useful ones.

I want to download the HD version of the awesome Old School Computer remix of a great Somebody That I Used to Know song by Gotye.
How the heck can I do this the easiest way?
2.
Click the Firefox button and choose Add-ons.
3.
Firefox Add-ons and extensions window shows up.
No enter youtube downloader into the search field in the upper right corner (see picture) and press Enter.
4.
Search results show up, look for the Easy YouTube Video Downloader (see picture) ...
5.
... and press Install next to it.
6.
Now go back to the video you want to download, (reload/refresh the YouTube site) and you should notice the big Download button directly bellow the video (see picture).
7.
Click the Download button and choose what kind of a file you want.
I wanted the HD version so I chose the MP4 720p (HD). If you want to download only a song or audio, choose the M4A, AAC or the wide spread MP3 option (higher the number better the quality).
8.
Choose Save File and click OK and wait for the file to download.
9.
When done right click the file in the Download window and choose Open Containing Folder to go directly to the folder where the file was saved in.
Happy YouTube downloading! :)
