Hidden Photographic Toning Presets in Photoshop CS6
New Photoshop brings up a lot of new features and one lots of them are hidden so I will show you one of them today.

1.
|
|
|
Open some random photograph.
I have opened a photograph of a house under the Hill Golica, which is located in small country Slovenia.
|
|
|
2.
|
|
|
In Adjustment window click on icon Create a new Gradient Map adjustment layer.
|
|
|
3.
|
|
|
In layers you will see a new adjustment layer where you select the left side of it (check the picture).
|
|
|

|
|
Gradient window will shup up.
Click in a drop down menu and then click on tiny setting icon ...
|
|
|

|
|
|
... and select Photographic Toning.
In this menu is also an option to reset to defaults.
|
|
|

|
|
|
When Photoshop asks if you want to append or replace, click OK.
|
|
|
7.
|
|
|
Then click again on that tiny setting icon and select Small List, because it will let you select toning easier.
|
|
|
8.
|
|
|
Select one of many tonings inside ...
|
|
|
9.
|
|
|
... and check out the changes on a photograph.
|
|
|
10.
|
|
|
Then select some other toning ...
|
|
|

|
|
|
... and again voila :)
|
