Plan a route on a Nokia N9

I will show you how to plan a custom route on your Nokia N9 smartphone and then also use it for navigation.

Open your Maps and find a place on map you want to plan a route to.

Hold your finger on that spot for a second or two ...

... and a street address will pop up.

Press the name of that address.

More information about that address will show up.

You can search for food, travel information and so much more on that window.

Press the route button now.

You will get three possible directions to that spot now.

the default is with car and it will also show you how many kilometers or miles is from your place to this place.

Press the Get directions button.

If you want, you can press the my location area and change the starting location. So in that case, you can really plan a route from everywhere and not just your GPS located location.

A map will show up with the route plan where you will be able to see it really clearly.

And when you will press the Start navigation button, the Nokia Drive will open and start voice guiding you.
