How to burn ISO image to a CD/DVD with Windows 7
You don't need any extra software to burn ISO images to a CD or DVD in Windows 7, you can simply use Windows Disc Image Burner.

Open Windows Explorer (Windows key + E for a keyboard shortcut) and go to the ISO file you want to burn to a CD or DVD.
I'm going to burn an ISO image of Ubuntu 12.04 installation to a CD. If you want the Ubuntu OS, you can get it here.
Put an empty CD or DVD into your computer's CD/DVD drive.

Right click the ISO file, click Open with and choose Window Disc Image Burner.
If there is no Disc Image Burner present in that very menu, click Windows Start button and enter Disc Image Burner into Search programs and files.

Choose your CD/DVD drive and click Burn ...
|
|
|

|
|
... and wait until the disc burning process is over.
|
|
|

|
Don't forget to label your CD/DVD using a permanent marker or you will have a hard time finding it the next time you will be needing it.
