How to turn on subtitles in YouTube videos
Not many people know you can actually turn on the subtitles or so called captions when watching a video on YouTube.

Open a video in YouTube.
|
|
|

|
|
If the video you are watching supports the subtitles there should be a CC button saying Automatic captions available in your language.
Click the CC button ...
|

... and choose the available language. English (transcribed) in my case.
|
|
|

|
|
And here are the subtitles. You can even move it around by clicking and dragging the "sound wave" button at the side of a subtitle (see picture).

To turn the captions off, click the CC button and choose Turn Captions Off.
