Whiten teeth using Photoshop the easy way
Why paying money for a dentist if you can do it by yourself at home. You just need a little bit time, photograph and Photoshop.

Open a photograph where you want to make teeth look whiter.
We were in a small country Slovenia where I have took a photograph of the soccer fans.

Select Lasso Tool (shortcut is a key L).
|
|
|

Make a selection around the teeth.
|
|
|

Click on Layer, New Adjustment Layer in choose Hue/Saturation...
|
|

A new window will pop-up and you can name your new adjustment layer or just leave it by default.
Click on button OK.

A new windows will show up , where you can set up colors and their saturation.
Click on Master and choose Yellows.
|
|

Settings for yellow shades will show up.
Set Saturation to -100 (check the picture).
|

Set the Master again, which represents all colors.
Set the Lightness to +25 (check the picture).
|

|
You will see that all yellowish colors has erased and the whole selection is lighten up.

In a set of layers you will see the adjustment layer and a layer mask in a black color.
Click on a layer mask (check the picture).

We will fill the mask with black color and then in next steps slowly unmask it.
Click on Edit and choose Fill...
In a new windows in a drop-down menu select Black and click on OK.

The photograph is unmasked and just like at the beginning.
Mask is a great tool and in next steps we will show it's powers :)

Select the Brush Tool (shortcut is a key B).
With that tool we will unmask the layer.

Press the button D and then X, tp set up the white/black colors.
|
|
|

|
We will set up the size of a brush tool.
Click on a document with a right click and choose the custom size of Brush Tool and Select Hardness just like I did.

We will set up a little bit weaker Brush tool to 30& of it's powers.
In a toolbar above set Opacity to 30%.
|

|
Now click and drag easily on are with teeth.
If you made too much of whiteness, press the X key and correct it. And then press the X key again to whiten again.

We are finished.
