Get a new Outlook.com web email
Don't like Hotmail? Me neither, but this new Outlook.com web email service looks pretty neat.

Go to www.outlook.com and click Sign up.
If you already have a Hotmail account, you can log in using it as well.

Enter the required data ...
|
|
|

... your new Outlook password twice ...
|
|
|
4.

|
|
... security questions in case you forget the password, enter anti spam required characters and click I accept.
|
|

Click Continue to inbox.
|
|

And here is your shinny brand new metro inspired Outlook web mail.
Try and send your first email by clicking New ...
|

... enter the recipient email ...

Click and enter subject and enter the email contents.
All the basic text editing like making text bold are available. To make the text bold, select it and click B (Bold) button.

Pretty nice and clean looking mail interface indeed.

To send an email in Outlook.com click Send.
|

You might get asked to Verify your account again, click Verify if it pops up.

... and enter required verification letters and click Continue.
I personally like what I see so far. It's a huge step in usability and transparency from its Hotmail service. It might really catch on, especially if they start integrating (and reinventing) their Office cloud services.
