Crop images to change their perspective in Photoshop

In Photoshop CS6, the new version of Photoshop, you can use special cropping tool and you are done, but that doesn't mean you cannot achieve the same result with older versions.

1.

Open a picture where you want to change the point of view.

Book or newspaper text is a nice way to see how this works.

You can click here if you want to see how we changed the perspective of an image in Photoshop CS6.

2.

Choose the Crop Tool (or C for a keyboard shortcut).

3.

Select the part of the image you want to put in another perspective, meaning you want to change the point of view.

You don't need to be accurate, we will fine tune the selection in the next steps.

4.

Choose the Perspective option.

5.

Now fine tune your selection by dragging the little squares (see picture).

6.

Click the Commit current crop operation button or press Enter.

7.

We're done!
