How to use Google Search widget on Android phones
Google Search widget is a great way to access contacts, apps and other data on your phone, and perform a regular Google web search.

Let's first install a Google Search widget.
Tap and hold the empty area on your Android phone.

Add to Home menu appears at the bottom.
Tap Widgets.

Swipe left or right through the widgets, tap Google Search.

|

Your Google Search widgets is now ready to serve your needs.
Tap it.

Let's search for a contact on a phone.
Enter contact name you want to call or send a message to.

And if it exists, it should be among the search results. Just tap it.

And there you go, call it, text it or do whatever you want to do with it.

Let's now try to search for a game on your Android phone.

Just start entering the name of the app you are searching for and the search results should be getting listed as you type. Just tap the app to launch it.
