You have more people using one computer and you don't want them to be able to shut it down using a shutdown button on Windows logon screen, this is how you remove it.

This is the Shutdown button on Windows 7 logon screen I am talking about.
In order to remove it, do the following...
2.
Click Windows Start button and put local security into Search programs and files entry field.
3.
Under Programs search results, click Local Security Policy.
4.
In Local Security Policy settings window, click Local Policy and choose Security Options.
5.
Now look for Shutdown: Allow system to be shut down without having to log on setting in the right window pane and click it.
Tip: you can click anywhere in the right window pane and just start typing shu... and it will bring you automatically to the setting you are looking for.

6.
Now choose Disabled under Local Security Settings tab and click OK.
That is it, if you would now log off there shouldn't be a Shutdown button on a logon screen anymore. If you want it back, just repeat the steps above and choose Enabled.
