Stop messages from being sent in Gmail
Stop messages from being sent for a few seconds after hitting the send button. Useful lesson if you work faster than your brains.

Open your Gmail account.
|
|

Click on Settings icon ...
|
|
| |

... and choose Settings again.
|

Settings page will show up.
Click on Labs.
|

And then find app Undo Send ...
|
|
| |

|
|
... and Enable it on the right side.
|
|
| |

|
On the bottom of page click on Save Changes when you are done.

|
|
... and few seconds after sending you will be able to undo action.
|
|

|
|
|
After action you will be prompted with sending has been undone message.
