How to add a High Pass Filter in Gimp
If you miss the high pass filter in Gimp, this is the way to add it to the rest of Gimp filters.

1.

Click here to go to the High Pass Filter for Gimp download page, or right click this link and choose Save as for a direct download of the filter.

|
2.

|
|
Save the high-pass.scm file to a folder on your computer.
|
|
|

|
|
Now open Windows Explorer.
Right click Windows Start button and choose Open Windows Explorer or press Windows Key + E.

|

|
Copy the high-pass.scm and paste it into C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts
|
|
|
5.
|
|
|
Now run Gimp and open a random image to test the new filter.
In the menu click Filters, Generic and there is your High Pass Filter.
If you can't see the filter, exit and open Gimp and try again.

Set the Filter Radius and Contrast and click OK.
|
|
|
