Adding dots to an object with Photoshop CS6

Cool new feature in Adobe Photoshop CS6 where you can easily add dotted line around objects, real time saver.

1.
 

Choose Rectangle Tool.

Choose Shape option (see picture).

Draw a rectangle.

 
 
4.
 

Change the Fill color of your rectangle.

Now let's add some stroke to a rectangle.

Choose a black Stroke color (see picture).

Add some "meat" to your line by setting the shape stroke width (see picture).

Now let's change the shape stroke type to make the line dotted.

Click Set shape stroke type ...

... and choose a dotted line of your choice.

Click More Options...

Set stroke Align to Center ...

... and Corners to Round.
