Content aware moving of objects in Photoshop CS6
The new Adobe Photoshop CS6 comes with quite a few new features one of more impressive ones is Content aware move tool.

1.

|
|
Open a picture where you want to move an objects from one place to another. I'm going to move sheep on the left to right hand side.
|
|
|
2.

|
|
Choose Contnet-Aware Move Tool.
Just click and hold the Spot Healing Brush tool until more tools to choose from appear.

|
Select the object you want to move.
|
|
|

|
|
Mode should be set to Move (see picture).
|
|
|

|
|
Now just move the selected object to the other side of a picture.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Photoshop CS6 moved the object to another side and automatically filled now empty area. This is called content aware fill.
Press Ctrl + D to remove selection.

|

|
|
If you set mode to Extend (step 4), object would be duplicated and not moved.
|
|
|
