Download and install Skype
Skype is a free instant messaging, voice and video calling application, let me show you how to download and install it.

Click Download Skype button.
|
|

In order to use Skype, you need to register first.
Fill the needed data.
Data that needs to be entered has a * next to it.

Now choose your Skype Name.
Skype Name is a username you are going to login with.
Choose a password and enter it twice.
Don't forget the password.
Click Continue.

Click I agree - Continue.
|
|

Save file window should now pop up. Click Save File button.
It's similar in all major browsers. If you don't get any Save File request, click Try again link.

Launch the downloaded installation file.
|
|

If you want an Addon that enables you Skype calls directly from a Web browser when there is a phone number listed, choose Install Skype Click to Call option.
Click Continue.

Skype should now start installing.
|
|
| |

Now enter, the Skype Name and password you chose in Step 4 and click Sign me in.
|
|

Your avatar picture can be added later on, click Add later.
|

Click Start using Skype.
|
|
| |

|
And you are in.
You can start searching for contacts, just enter an e-mail of a person and if that person is a Skype user, then you will get them listed.

You can also add a contact by clicking Add a contact.
