How to install a new Wordpress theme for your site
In this step-by-step tutorial, we will download a free Wordpress theme and install it on a Wordpress site.

If you don't like default Wordpress theme, or just want to make it more you, but you don't have skill to alter the program code, there are thousands of Wordpress themes available for download. Some are free some you need to buy. The ones you buy are usually better designed and have advanced features. Let's download and install one of the free Wordpress themes.
Go to http://wordpressthemesbase.com/, choose a Theme that you like and click Download and save it on your computer.

Now login to your Wordpress admin panel.
If your site name is www.yoursite.com then go to www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
|

In your Wordpress admin panel, click Appearance and choose Themes.
|

Click Install Themes tab.
|
|
| |

Click Upload (see picture).

... and open the theme .zip file you downloaded earlier.

All you have to do now, is to click Install Now button.

To make your theme visible on your site, click Activate link (see picture).

Your new theme is now active, and if you go to your site, it should be visible.

When you don't want that theme anymore, just Activate your old theme again (see picture).

And if you want to delete the theme, click Delete link under the theme you want to delete completely of your site.
