Download and install QuickTime
In order to watch Apple movies and trailers, you need to install Apple QuickTime multimedia player.

If you aren't sure there's QuickTime already installed on your computer, click here to visit John Carter trailer page on Apple Movie Trailers site.
When you land there, click Watch Now to see if trailer starts playing.

If it starts playing then it's all good, you're already sorted and you can ignore rest of the tutorial if you want.
But when John Carter trailer does not start and you get a Get QuickTime message instead, then you're in the right place. Just click the Download button or click here to go to the QuickTime download site.

Save the file.
It's quite similar in all well known browsers.

|

When download is finished, start the QuickTimeInstaller.exe.
Just double-click it if you're using Firefox.
|
|
|

Choose if you want a shortcut on your desktop and if you want QuickTime to update automatically.
Click Finish to proceed with QuickTime installation.

Wait for installation to finish.
If you get some warnings about QuickTime wanting to use your computer just click OK.

And when asked whether you want to Go Pro, just click No Thanks.
|

You need to restart your browser for QuickTime to start working.
After browser restart, go back to John Carter trailer and try to play it once more.

It should start playing immediately.
|

QuickTime player is also a standalone player similar to Windows Media Player, you can use it to play different multimedia files as well.
