Round corners with GIMP

Let me show you how to create round corners on any picture in just a few steps using GIMP.

Open a picture in GIMP.

Click Filters, Decor and Round Corners.

 
 
3.
 

Set the edge radius.

My image size is 220x220 that's why is the Edge Radius 17 more then enough.

Uncheck Add drop-shadow, Add background and Work on copy then click OK.

We're going to save the file now.

Click File and Save As.

 
 
5.
 

Select PNG image as a file type.

 
 
6.
 

Uncheck Save background color and click Save.

 
 
7.
