I think the Mac OS was designed in a way an average user doesn't really need the right click. People that are coming from the Windows world are usually the ones who miss it.
I personally need the right click when working on a Mac, I find it useful and helps me do things faster.
The thing is, if you plug a regular 2 button mouse (not an Apple mouse) into a Mac, the right click works immediately, you don't need to activate it first.
