Photoshop xenon headlights on a car
You will learn how to turn on xenon headlights on a car using Photoshop effect in this step-by-step tutorial.
1.
Open a picture of a car you want to turn some headlights on.
I've chosen the sexy Jaguar XF.
3.
Press D to set the black foreground color and press Alt + Delete to fill the layer with black color.
Choose the original car layer (see picture).
In your case it might say Background instead of Layer 1.
4.
In the menu click Filter, Render and choose Lens Flare...
Click and move the flare on one of the cars headlights.
Choose the 105mm Prime lens and click OK.
5.
In the menu click Edit and choose Undo Lens Flare.
Yes I know, but there's a reason for that ;)
6.
Choose the black layer (see picture).
7.
Press Ctrl + F to apply the last used filter, Lens Flare in your case.
It will appear on the same place you've chosen.
8.
Now set the Screen for a layer blending mode.
9.
Press V to choose the Move Tool and adjust the Lens Flare layer to fit the headlight perfectly (see picture).
10.
Let's do another headlight now.
Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer and move the new Lens Flare to fit the other headlight.
11.
Press Ctrl + E to merge the headlight layers.
12.
We need to delete the unnecessary flare on the picture.
Choose the Eraser Tool.
13.
Right click the picture then set a larger eraser Size and set Hardness to 0%.
Press Esc to close the settings window.
14.
Click the areas to get rid of unnecessary flare.
15.
So it ends up looking something like this.
16.
Press Ctrl + U to open Hue/Saturation settings window.
Set the Hue to about +15 and click OK.
17.
That's it that's all, the Jag is now lit!
