Before you do any mounting or hardware changing on your PC, always plug out the power supply first.
Remove the plastic cover plate on the front side of your PC. It's the same size as a CD/DVD-ROM unit, use a screwdriver to remove the cover plate.
Put the CD/DVD-ROM unit into the hole and push it until it's perfectly leveled with PC case.

Remove the side cover of the PC case and fixate the unit by screwing in the screws.
It's recommended to do the same thing on the other side.

|
|
First plug the power black cable into the unit.
Then plug in the blue SATA cable into the unit.
SATA cable is responsible for transferring data.
|

|
4.

|
|
Plug the other end of the SATA cable into a free SATA socket on your motherboard.
If you are not really sure where on your mother board SATA sockets are located, just check the user manual of your motherboard.

5.
|
|
|
Put back the side covers and that should be it.
