Lunar eclipse in a minute with Photoshop

A nice little tutorial where we will create an awesome looking lunar eclipse in only a few steps.

1.
 

Open a new Photoshop document and make it 700 x 700 pixels.

Click OK.

 
 
2.
 

Press D to set black and white color.

Press ALT + DEL keys to fill the document with black color.

In the menu click Filter, Artistic and choose Plastic Warp...

In the new settings window choose the same settings as I did and click OK (see picture).

It should look like this by now.

In the menu Filter, Distort and choose Polar Coordinates...

Choose Rectangular to Polar and click OK.

It should look like this by now.

 
 
6.
 

All you have to do now is click Image, Rotate Canvas and choose 90 CW.

Done deal, and a nice lookin lunar eclipse right? :)
