Dew on window photoshop tutorial

We will reacreate a dew on a window that gets formed when there is moisture in the air.

Open a picture you want to moisturize.

Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer.

Click the Channels tab and click Create new channel button (see picture).

Select the new Alpha 1 channel.

It's probably already selected but just in case.

In the menu click Filter, Texture and choose Grain...

In the new window set Intensity to 100, Contrast 50 and choose Vertical.

Click OK.

In the menu click Filter, Artistic and choose Smudge Stick...

In the new window set Stroke Lenght to  0, Highlight Area to 0 and Intensity to 10.

Click OK.

In the menu click Filter, Blur and choose Gaussian Blur...

In the new window set Radius to 1 pixels and click OK.

In the menu click Filter, Blur and choose Motion Blur...

In the new window set Angle to 90 degrees and Distance to 7 pixels.

Click OK.

Press CTRL + L and set the Input Levels the same way I did (see picture).

Click OK.

Hold Ctlr and click Alpha 1 channel (see picture).

You just made a selection.

Click Layers tab and click the duplicated layer (see picture).

In the menu click  Image, Adjustments and choose Brightness/Contrast....

In the new window set  Contrast to 20 and click OK.

Press Shift + Ctrl + I to inverese the selection.
In the menu click Image, Adjustments and choose Brightness/Contrast....

In the new window set Contrast to -30 and click OK.

In the menu click Filter, Blur and choose Gaussian Blur...

In the new window set Radius to 3 pixels and click OK.

 
 
15.
 

Press Ctrl + D to remove selection and you are done!
