Enlarge a head in Photoshop
I'm going to show you, how to blow up ones head, meaning I will take a picture of a dog and make his head bigger.
1.
Open a picture of a person or an animal you want to enlarge their head.
I'm going to blow up Solo's head, the expression on his face looks like he can see it coming. :)
2.
Choose Magnetic Lasso Tool ...
Or what ever selection tool you are more comfortable with.
4.
In the menu click Select and choose Refine Edge.
Adjust Smooth and Feather settings a bit (see picture).
Click OK.
5.
Press Ctrl + T to for free transform mode, drag on a little square while holding Shift key to enlarge the selection/head.
Holding Shift key keeps selection in proportion.
6.
Adjust the head to fit the body by dragging and dropping it.
Press Enter when done adjusting the head.
7.
Choose the Smudge Tool.
8.
Set Strength to about 50%.
9.
And start clicking and dragging to hide the obvious transitions between the new bigger head and the rest of the body.
Don't over do it, just keep trying, it's a trial and error kind of a deal.
10.
Choose the Clone Stamp Tool.
11.
And cover the areas that are sticking out a bit too much.
Hold Alt and click the source area then release alt and start "painting".
Do that on both sides or wherever you think it's necessary.
12.
Now choose the Sharpen Tool.
13.
Set Strength to about 50%.
14.
And start clicking the areas you used the clone tool on.
15.
Do the same on the areas you used the Smudge Tool on.
16.
Solo the Boston Terrier is not amused. :)
