Hidden themes in Windows 7

Windows 7 are hiding a few more extra Themes, let me show you how to bring them to light.

1.

Click start and enter (or copy/paste) C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT into the Search programs and files window.

2.

A Windows explorer window with folders opens.

Content of the folder depends of the language settings you chose when installing Windows 7. I installed the English that's why I am presented with the folders that contain Themes from English speaking countries. MCT-AU = Australia, MCT-CA = Canada, MCT-GB = Great Britain, MC-US = USA, MCT-ZA = South Africa

Double click the folder of your choice.

I've chose the USA.

3.

If you double click the country folder ...

4.

...you get the Wallpaper images.

You can use them for your wallpaper if you don't want the whole desktop theme to change.

5.

Click the Back button to return to the previous folder.

6.

Now double click the Theme folder.

7.

Inside the folder is a theme file, just double click it.

8.

The theme changes, Personalization window opens and the new theme joins your other Aero themes.

United States in my case.
